Heading off from Rivington we take the country lanes and a couple of minor roads up towards Brindle and its surrounding villages before arriving at Bamber bridge for a quick rest stop. Once hydrated, we continue on towards Clayton Brook and return passing through the villages of Chorley on this circular route. There are a number of steady inclines on this route but don't let this put you off.
