Bushy Park and Hampton Court

This is a mainly flat route to Kingston, passing through The Hamptons on the way. After crossing Kingston Bridge, we'll take the Thames Path along to Hampton Court, befor returning via Bushy Park.

Please note that with the developing Covid situation, we will only be having a short outdoor coffee stop, maybe at Bushy, maybe at Hampton Court or even Kingston. We may find that cafes are closed or have reduced seating available. Toilets may also be closed, but I have a few options in mind.

We'll stop for coffee at the Italian cafe just outside Bushy Park. There's a toilet available there too.

The route follows quiet roads and off road cyclepaths as much as possible. There is some hard packed gravel along the Thames Path and in Bushy Park.

Please remember to bring your helmet and a spare inner tube (tyre levers and pump too if you have them). You may also wish to bring a drink, snack, money/card, lock and hand sanitizer too.

Covid-19 You should not attend this ride if you, or anyone in your household, has Covid-19 symptoms; if you are in the extremely clinically vulnerable category, or if you have been asked to stay home by the UK Government Track and Trace system. If you become unwell between booking the ride and the ride date, please remember to cancel your place so that it becomes available for another rider, as numbers are restricted. If you become unwell with Covid-19 in the days following the ride, please contact the ride leader. There is no requirement to wear a face covering while riding, but you may do so if you wish.
