Wharf This is a mixed ride social road ride over towards Burscough Wharf. A mix of both major and minor roads along with country lanes will be used on this ride, some undulating. All roads will be fairly quiet due to the day and time of day. There are a few slight inclines to tackle but they are short lived.
We will be stopping at Burscough Wharf where there are a couple of eateries to choose from. We will probably preorder so will be in touch via lets ride conversation nearer the time.
Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride. Please be self-sufficient and arm yourself with spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump. Please note the average cycling speed will be 12-13 mph.
