NOTE. You must register on Eventbrite so we can limit numbers, link https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/burgess-park-clapham-common-battersea-park-loop-healthy-cycle-ride-tickets-251470413777
Usual easy-paced ride using lots of quiet streets and paths, but with some short stretches of busy road. First leg via Stockwell ending at the Bandstand on Clapham Common. Middle leg through Clapham Old town then back streets to Battersea Park Rd and into Battersea Park at Queens Crescent. Return leg is from the park by the Thames Path, past the Power Station developments and on to 9 Elms Lane for a short stetch. Then Thames path to Riverside Gardens followed by a back streets route through Kennington and Camberwell back to Burgess Park. Jane leading. 11.5 miles, flat, route at https://gb.mapometer.com/cycling/route_5156045.html.
Note about Eventbrite registration. This is to allow us to limit numbers as we post information to several locations. If you do register here you may get a confirmation. I am afraid this does not over-ride the Eventbrite registration. If Eventbrite says the ride is full, then that is correct. You can join the Wait List on Eventbrite. Remember we ride every week and if you want early notification then join our Google Group, https://groups.google.com/g/healthy-riders.
This ride is organised by Southwark Cyclists, and is part of a regular programme of Saturday rides, more information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/. Southwark Cyclists are part of the London Cycling Campaign.

Enjoy riding across Clapham Common and admiring the new buildings at Battersea Power Station all at a slow pace in good company.

Mostly quiet streets and paths. Some busy junctions.

Yes, coffee stop at Battersea.

Just yourself and your bike.

First-timers welcome!
