Jumping straight onto the towpath from the car park, we will head along the towpath to Sowerby Bridge where we will switch from the Calder and Hebble Navigation to The Rochdale Canal, there is a small road section to switch between to two.
We will then head along the towpath to Luddenfoot where we come of the towpath for a short road section to pick up the trail that runs along the railway line
At Mytholmroyd station we will again join the road for a mix of road and trail to Hebden Bridge.
There are cafes to suit all, or bring your own picnic
Returning to Brighouse by the same route
Helmets are mandatory on all rides. Please make sure your bike is in good condition and have some spares with you ie spare tube, puncture repair kit and basic tools
There are some cobble sections at locks and a few tight sections on this route but we will take it steady
This is a fantastic ride to the beautiful town of Hebden Bridge
