Welcome to Breezy Ladies B2B (Back to Basics) First ride for Summer 2020 :)

These are ladies only beginner ride's with superb views (weather permitting), on an almost totally traffic free route (around 0.25 of a mile will be on road).
So novice ladies and reluctant lady rider's are very welcome. This includes e-bike lady rider's with a fully charged battery.

We will be meeting at the recycling point by Edgar's garage at the far end of Asda's car park.

Then we will be traveling on the National cycling Network's route 72 towards Maryport harbour where we can have a short socially distanced, open air snack break before returning by the same route.

Please bring with you a road worthy bike, your helmet, clothes you are comfortable cycling in, easy to remove layers work best, a waterproof jacket, as the weather can change quite quickly and a cold drink for along the way, also if you wish a snack for our alfresco break.
It is also advisable to check what you may need to bring with you from the list below.

All new comers are very welcome, this also includes e-bike rider's with a fully charged battery.

Due to new guide lines from British Cycling the advice below MUST be adhered to:

Participants must consider safety first, particularly minimising the risk of infection/transmission and the risk of injury (so riding to your known abilities is key), so as not to place further pressure on the NHS.

Participants must not attend rides if they have Covid-19 symptoms, have someone in their household who does or who are in the extremely vulnerable category or if they have been asked to remain at home by the UK Government track and trace system.
Participants must provide their own equipment.
A hand pump with the correct connection for your inner tube is a must.
The essentials are;
1. Tyre levers,
2. Inner tube that fits your bike,
3. Puncture repair kit,
4. Pocket sized multi tool
5. Hand sanitizer & water bottle, any food/refreshments if required for the designated break stop and must avoid sharing any of the above.

At this stage using face masks or coverings is a personal choice but it should not restrict your breathing.
Participants should wash/sanitise their hands after the ride & while attending any ride breaks. During & when leaving the ride participants must maintain social distancing, at present this stands at 2 meters.
