We start off from the pavilion in Avenham park and head clockwise round the Guildwheel to Miller Green. From here we take to the road and head to Broughton where we start the climb to Inglewhite and enjoy great views to Beacon Fell country park, we then take an undulating route to Bilsborrow and on to Light Ash farm for coffee.
After our relaxing break we head along St Michaels rd for a short distance and take a left turn into Pinfold lane. We follow this quiet lane all the way back to Inskip where we join quiet roads to Woodplumpton and then continue on to the Guildwheel and back to Avenham park.
We will aim for an average speed of 10-11 miles an hour

This is a steady ride aimed at women who are confident on a bike, wish to extend the length of their rides and are ready to try out some hills. The route gives a great introduction to Lancashire hills with fine views of the countryside

This is a circular route around the lanes north of Preston passing through small Hamlets and stopping halfway for coffee. All bikes are suitable for this terrain but must be in a road worthy condition.

We will be stopping at Myerscough college for coffee. It has a great range of food at very reasonable prices and we also get to enjoy the beautiful gardens free of charge.

Please bring some water and a snack and some money if you wish to purchase food and/or drink at the coffee stop. Be prepared for cold/warm/wet weather conditions. Riders are advised to wear a helmet and it is compulsory for those under 18 to wear a helmet. Prior to the start of the ride there will be a short bike check and safety brief but please make sure that your bike is in working order before joining the ride. Please carry a spare inner tube and tools necessary to carry out a puncture repair

This is a small friendly group of women who enjoy a social ride around the scenic lanes in the area and a friendly chat over coffee. We love to welcome new members and we never leave anyone behind.
