Breezing to the Barton Arms

This is a nice leisurely ride which wanders down the Bridgewater Canal from Leigh to Worsley. We'll stop for a refreshment break in Monton so please bring some money to buy something but also bring a drink and snacks for the journey. This ride is mainly flat and much of the cycle path has been resurfaced so a lot less mud than previously!!.

Please dress to suit the weather conditions. Carry a spare inner tube and/or repair kit and make sure your bike is in good working order. Helmets are mandatory.

We always ride to a pace which suits everyone and have plenty stops to rest and chat!! We'll see a variety of birds, wildlife and enjoy some fantastic scenery along the way.

Due to the current pandemic please come equipped with hand gel, tissues and antibacterial wipes.
