Breezing through Stotfold and Astwick

This gently paced ride is a sociable way to explore Stotfold and Astwick by bike.
The route is mostly flat, with some slight inclines but we will not rush. The route takes us through residential areas as well as quiet country lanes. Part of the route will include a gravel path, so please ensure your tyres are suitable. We will stop for a breather, a drink or snack as required and to take a group picture.
The route starts in a residential area and then takes us onto quiet county roads. The route will pass the Stotfold Watermill & nature reserve and St Guthlac parish church dating from the 15th century in Astwick. We will cross the rivel Ivel four times, we may spot the resident swan family or even the elusive Kingfisher if we are very lucky!
There is opportunity for a café stop at the end.
Please wear a helmet to join this ride. Please bring tools to fix a puncture (spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump and necessary tools to remove your wheel). You may want to bring a drink and a snack and a waterproof jacket. Please do not ride if you or someone in your household has symptoms of COVID-19.
