Breezing from GX to Cookham

- We will cycle on quiet roads towards Hedgerly, down Harvest Hill, past Bourne End Garden Centre, across the lovely Ferry Ln bridge over the Thames, to Cookham. We will have tea at the Tea pot Tea Shop. Back up Harvest Hill, then through Burnham Beeches, Farnham Common and Fulmer. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/39983114
- There are some sharp ascents and descents on this route so you need to be a competent rider, but we will always wait at the top of hills and nobody is ever left behind.
- Please bring the usual (credit card, inner tubes, etc). I would prefer you to wear a helmet for your safety.
- If you are driving to the start there is free parking on many residential roads near the Apple Tree, e.g. Dukes Wood Drive SL9 7LF.
- If coming by public transport, the Chiltern Rail train from West Ruislip takes 6 minutes, and leaves at 9:35 and 9:55am. It is a short ride from GX station. If you are unsure of the way message me the night before and we can cycle that way to collect you.
