This scenic 16 mile route takes us from Crowthorne via Finchampstead and Ludgrove, then over the level crossing to the new Montague Park development in Wokingham and onwards to the Foxes Den café in Binfield. After a coffee break at the Foxes Den (roughly halfway along our route) we will return via quiet roads and Bracknell cycleways, via Jennetts Park, to Crowthorne.
If it is dry, there is also an option to ride an extra 2 mile loop around Buckler's Forest on our way back to Crowthorne. The route is a mixture of roads, unsurfaced roads and cycle paths, with some bumps and muddy stretches. Most types of bike will be fine, but it is probably not suitable for road bikes with very skinny tyres.

We will be using a mix of bridleways, (some of which are gravelly or sandy), cycle paths and quiet roads and crossing a couple of busier roads. (Please note that this ride is therefore not suitable for road bikes with skinny tyres.)

Please check your bike is roadworthy before you come out and bring with you: For your bike - a spare inner tube, a compatible bike pump and lock; For yourself - please wear a helmet and suitable clothing (waterproof/sunscreen?) bring a drink for the ride and some money for the café stop

We never leave anyone behind
