Leaving Monton, we cycle up towards Swinton on some of the newly created cycle paths, and onwards through LIVIA Silverdale to Agecroft and Drinkwater Park. Picking up NCR6 we head towards Ringley and onto Farnworth along the Manchester Bolton and Bury Canal. A stretch on roads takes us into Bolton and on to Queens Park for a well earned brew and a chat.
Our return takes us back along a short section of road before picking up NCR55 back to Monton

Much of the ride is traffic free however there are a few stretches of road some of which might be busy but we'll ride together and won't leave anyone behind. Some of the paths are gravel so best suited to bikes with wider tyres.

There'll be plenty of time for stops to chat and take photos and we'll have a brew stop at the lovely cafe in Queens Park, Bolton

Bring some money if you'd like to buy refreshments at the cafe and it's always a good idea to have a drink and some snacks with you in case you need them on the way. If you can, bring a spare inner tube and pump with you, and wearing a helmet is a must. Also, keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately.

We never leave anyone behind
