We'll be heading out through a few quite streets before following the cycle path out of Oxford alongside Banbury Road. From Kidlington, we'll head onto quiet roads, through Hampton Poyle to Bletchingdon, before cutting across to Weston and the Milkshed. The route is 'out-and-back', so we will follow the same route back to the starting point.

This is an out and back route to the lovely Milkshed Cafe in Weston on the Green, with a stop for coffee and cake. It is 25.6km (15.9 miles) and is nice and flat. I ride a lot around Oxfordshire, but this is my first Breeze ride, so hoping for some company on a (hopefully) sunny winter's day :-)

This route follows sustains routes and will be a mixture of cycle tracks alongside roads and on quiet country roads.

The Milkshed Cafe (themilkshedstore.co.uk) - excellent breakfasts, cake and ice-cream! Also happy to stop along the way whenever anyone feels the need for a short break

Please check out the weather in advance - think about a rain jacket and some warm layers. Wear a helmet and have at least a rear light (in winter, the light conditions can be quite low and it's always good to be seen!). Please have a spare inner tube for your bike - I can change inner tubes if required, but different bikes have different sizes, so make sure you've one which fits your bike. Bring a water bottle with your preferred drink and a small snack - also some cash/card for the main event at the Milkshed.

If you can ride a bike and want to try this distance, this is the ride for you! Come along - we'll be riding at the pace of the slowest rider and won't leave anyone behind.
