SP1 3NA

Leaving Five Rivers we will take the familiar Woodford Valley to Amesbury, no Costa coffee today, instead we will carry on to Great Durnford. At this point we can choose between Jubilee Hill or a more gentle climb to the High Post. Crossing the A345 we head towards West Gomeldon and call in at the Porton Garden Centre for a well deserved rest and some refreshments.
We then head towards Pitton via Porton Down - crossing the A30 at the "wonky traffic lights". We then take the Whiteway back to the A30, cross to the A338 towards Laverstock and make our way back to Five Rivers via Milford Hill and Castle Street.

Overall a new route but includes some familiar roads and views

Mainly quiet roads
