We will be riding on a 'out and back' route where we will be in sight of magnificent views over the Down. This is an intermediate to challenging route with some lengthy and steep inclines. You need to have the fitness to be able to cycle up hill on your bike.

This is an undulating traffic free route of about 10 miles. We will start at the the car park of the famous Sussex land marks - Jack and Jill Windmills on Clayton Hill. We will ride over to Ditchling Beacon through meadow land and gravel and pause at the Beacon. We will then continue through to Black Cap Beacon where we will stop for snacks and drink. After we are rested we will make our way back to Jack and Jill Windmills following our route back.

We will be riding on a range of terrain including gravel paths and meadow

We will take several stops to take in the wonderful scenery and have a snack and drink.

Please ensure your bikes are in good working order. MTB, gravel or hybrid only. Skinny wheel bikes will not be appropriate in this instance. Please make sure you have spare inners with you and appropriate tool incase of puncture. Bring your favourite snacks and drink and don't forget the sun screen as if it is a sunny day - there is no other protection.

We never leave anyone behind
