Breeze to Billinge and Beyond

Leaving at our usual starting point of Leigh College.. Classified as predominently road, this route is for anyone looking to push themselves a bit further. The route consists of a mixture of urban roads, quiet country lanes and designated cycle paths, suitable for road or hybrid bikes. The route heads off from Leigh to Billinge, meandering onto Rainford for a well-earned refreshment break. We will return to Leigh via the cycle paths of the Rainford Bypass and East Lancs.

The ride is challenging in parts with a few steep climbs but we don't leave anyone behind and ride at a pace to suit everyone. Please bring along a drink and energy snacks together with a spare inner tube and wear suitable clothing.
