This will be a leisurely and scenic ride to the Red Cross Garden, (which should be looking lovely at this time of year) as well as other interesting curiosities in the area, such as the Cornerstone installation, The Shared (NOT the Shard!) and hopefully the Crossbones Graveyard.
We will cycle up to Greenwich and pick up the Thames path and then C14 through the Rotherhithe peninsula to Bermondsey. We will visit the Cornerstone statues and the Shared before visiting the Red Cross Garden and the Crossbones Graveyard. We will return via the C10 and the Waterlink Way.
There will be a coffee stop en route, either at the Rotherhithe Watch house or Le Comptoir Gourmand in Maltby Street.
Please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions and that your bike is in good working order. Make sure your details on your profile are up-to-date, in particular that we have a phone number for you. If you don’t have a mobile put your home number in the mobile phone box.
Any problems on the day, call Jacqui Turner 07456840924
