Heading out of Enfield down the cycle lane on Green Lanes. We cross over the North Circular and continue our way on quiet back streets to Ally Pally.

This route takes us on mainly quiet roads and cycle paths towards Hampstead Heath all the way to Kenwood House and up a few hills.

This is suitable for riders that are comfortable with being able to ride 8-10 miles without a break and want to take the next step in improving fitness and endurance. There are a few places where we will be on main roads.

North Circular into the quiet roads of Hampstead Garden Suburb. We now start to benefit from the open spaces of Hampstead Heath as we ride up windy Wildwood Road to the top and enter Golders Hill Park. There we can admire the Pergola and have a quick stop at the cafe/toilets if needed. There is a short walk along North End Way and then cycle paths along Spaniards Road to the beautiful Kenwood House. We can admire the views and stop for a hot drink and cake in the attractive cafe and even browse in the bookshop and giftshop.

Please check the weather forecast and wrap up warm with wet weather gear if necessary. Helmets must be worn. Don't forget some money for the cafe and giftshop. We will go at a steady pace, enjoying the sights and never leave anyone behind!

First-timers welcome!
