Our Breeze Sunday Training Ride is one in a series of fortnightly road training rides. The intention is to support participants in gaining confidence, fitness and technique by riding on the road. The ride starts at 08:45 and will last approximately 3.5hrs with breaks, covering just over 30 miles. This is an intermediate ride with a few hills (elevation 1400ft) but we never leave anyone behind!

Sunday's ride starts from Stamford. We ride out via Tickencote and Barnsdale, through Greetham, cycling to Clipsham and on to Little Bytham for a coffee stop if participants fancy stopping for a break. From there we return to Clipsham and then on via Holywell and Pickworth back to Stamford. The route is varied, with a few undulations and hills.

Join us whether you are training for a particular event, whether you want to practise riding in a group or whether you just want a fun cycle with a group of like-minded women!

This is a 35-mile, undulating/hilly route starting from Stamford and moving in a figure of eight before returning to Stamford, providing a steady road training ride.

After leaving the town of Stamford, the ride heads out on quiet country roads with very little traffic, before returning to Stamford.

We will stop to take on water and will also stop for a coffee break at the garden centre in Little Bytham.

Please bring a helmet, water, some snacks (although we will stop for a coffee, so bring some money too!). Gloves are advisable and it's worth wearing layers and bringing a light raincoat.

We never leave anyone behind
