Starting point

Hertfordshire
WD3 1NF

- We will ride via Croxley Green, Sarratt, Belsize, Flaunden, Chorleywood, Roughwood Ln, down Chalfont Ln to Maple Cross, Coppermill Ln up to Harefield, back down to Ricky. 1100ft ascent https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34403435
- There are some sharp ascents and descents, so you need to be a competent cyclist, but we will take the hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. Nobody will get left behind.
- If the rain looks imminent then we won’t stop for a coffee until the end of the ride, back at the Aquadrome café (where the toilets are open), so bring a snack to eat during the ride. If the weather is fine and we feel like it, there is the possibility to have a coffee at Rootz at Chorleywood at 13 miles.
- Please bring a pump, credit card and at least 1 spare inner tube. I would prefer you to wear a helmet for your safety.
- If you are driving to the start there is free parking at the Aquadrome - come in along Frogmore Lane.
- You can take your bike anywhere on the Metropolitan Line anytime on weekends and off-peak Mon-Fri (peak hours are 7:30-9:30 and 16:00-19:00).

We will be passing Rickmansworth station on our way to Croxley Green so let me know if you want to wait at the station instead of having to come down to the Aquadrome, also what time your train arrives.
- Please check your bike thoroughly before you come. Check your brakes are working well, your gears are smooth and your tyres are in good condition and pumped up – you can use this video. https://www.sustrans.org.uk/our-blog/get-active/2019/everyday-walking-and-cycling/the-m-check-for-your-bike-in-11-steps If that one is too technical then try this easier one https://youtu.be/u0dtGe-LrcQ
- If you, or anyone in your household, are feeling at all unwell with possible symptoms of Covid-19 such as new persistent cough, high temperature, loss of sense of taste or smell, please cancel your place.
- If you have any questions don’t hesitate to message me
