Breeze Durham C2C - the downhill bit

Come and join us for the final day of the Breeze Durham C2C
Following the NCN 7 and 14 from Parkhead Station to Tynemouth Beach, this is an excellent opportunity to experience the downhill section of this wonderful route and share the final day with this years Breeze Durham C2C Group.
As you will be joining the group on their final day, we ask that you are confident in maintaining a ride speed of 10mph over 4-5 hours, as the main priority will be ensuring the c2c riders arrive at Tynemouth by 6pm. If you do have any mechanicals or issues that will take some time to resolve you will need to make arrangements to be collected.
A lunch stop will be organised closer to the date.
A lift back to Durham in a mini bus with cycle carrier is available from Tynemouth. Please message us if you require this. 07795390871

You are invited to join us for the final leg of the Breeze Durham C2C, as we arrive in to Parkhead Station cafe, near Stanhope, with the hills behind us and the lovely downhill ride to the seaside at Tynemouth to look forward to.

Sustrans NCN 7 C2C route mostly on gravelled path, with some short sections on road in Newcastle and Tynemouth.

We will be stopping for lunch at the Derwent Walk Inn, Shotley Bridge. You may wish to join us there.

Please bring clothing appropriate for the weather. Good waterproofs, gloves and a buff are recommended, together with a filled drinks bottle and an inner tube suitable for your wheel size. We also like sweeties.
