This is a loop ride, mostly off road with a stint on the A608 to avoid muddy paths. From Shipley Country Park Visitors Centre we shall take a route around the perimeter of the Park, stopping for a cafe break at Oakfield Farm, Stanley Common, before returning via the Nutbrook Trail.

The kinds of road you will be riding on are a mixture of gravel, tarmac and woodland tracks. 80% of the ride is traffic-free. A bike with road specific tyres is NOT RECOMMENDED for this ride.

I will reserved a inside table at Oakfield Farm Cafe should the weather be poor.

A helmet is advisable for this ride, a spare inner tube and a mobile phone. Suitable clothing for changeable weather. Pay & Display at Shipley Country Park Car Park takes Card, Cash and Contactless. Toilets located in Visitors Centre (open 9am) This ride will be postponed should the weather be frosty, snowy or torrential rain at the start.

We never leave anyone behind
