FROM HSBC BANK BURY ST EDMUNDS out of town past Nowton Park over to Little Whelnethen and then loop back to Bury St Edmunds via Thurston

A Taste of the OVO A chance to ride part of the route of the First Stage of the 2019 Womens Tour Starting outside HSBC BANK in Abbeygate Street the home of British Cyclings primary sponsor and cycling out of town and toward the open countryside and Route of the Tour See where on 10th June you can watch as the Tour paces by on its final few kilometres to the finish line in Stowmarket

A couple of miles of town roads generally quiet on a sunday then out to the country where roads are generally quiet There are a few quite challenging hills if you are a novice rider but after 4 weeks of this route you will be ready to take on the ride a fifth time on Race day 10th June getting to Welnetham in time to view the Riders as they cycle up the hill on their way though to Stowmarket

we always stop for drinks and breaks if you are tired and ride at the pace comfortable with the slowest rider

Helmets must be worn Please bring drinks at least two full bottles is advisable and perhaps a light snack or energy bar
