At 9.30am we will start cycling from Audlem and after 13 miles of steady cycling you will be rewarded by the opportunity to have brunch at Sainsbury’s in Whitchurch. Money and a face covering advised. This of course is dependent on he Covid-19 rules in force at the time and your own personal risk assessment. You can always bring your own drink and snack.

From Audlem we will head out to Aston were our route takes us along quiet country lanes through Wrenbury, Marley Green, Marbury, and Mile Bank before entering the outskirts of Whitchurch, were Sainsbury’s is conveniently located. It is 13 miles to this point. Sainsbury’s do a good breakfast at a reasonable price, so bring some money for whatever you fancy!
After our refreshment we continue the remaining 9 miles back to Audlem via a different route (Blake Mere, Holyhurst, Marley Hall, and Aston)

There are short sections of moderate gradient, but overall the route overall is flattish with some sections approaching Whitchurch best described as gently rolling terrain. But remember what goes up, must come down!

Whilst this ride will be taken at a steady pace it is not suitable for beginners.
Please ensure you have a road worthy bike, along with a spare inner tube of the correct size for your bicycle wheel. Please don’t rely on a puncture repair kit. Experience shows it’s far quicker to simply change out for a new tube then do your repair work at home! Don’t panic about punctures, we can help if needed.
We never leave anyone behind.

Keep an eye on the weather forecast. You will certainly need warm clothing and maybe a rain jacket. Don’t forget your gloves!

Cycle Helmets are compulsory.
