S20 3RW

We will ride around Rother valley and join NCN route number 6 up a small hill to Harthill. We will then follow small quiet roads to the Clowne Greenway where we will stop for drinks and food in Clowne. We will then join Clowne Greenway and return via TPT via Poolsbrook back to Rother valley.

If it icy, we will keep to the TPT and greenway (20 miles) to Clowne.

We will start with a climb via No 6 via Rother valley to Woodall and Harthill. We will then go via quiet roads and drop down to Clowne where we will join the Clowne Greenway and head towards Poolsbrook and back via Transpennine way to Rother Valley Park. This route uses trails (some muddy) and quiet roads. This route is for those wanting the challenge of hills and do not mind a mixture of road and muddy trails, and can keep up to a speed of 9 - 10 mph. Ideal for mountain bike or gravel bikes. It will be cold so we will keep stops to a minimum. Depending on the group, we will stop at either a cafe in Clowne or the cafe at Poolsbrook.

Please bring spare inner tube and/or puncture kit and your smile. As it will be cold make sure you have warm clothing.

We never leave anyone behind
