A route with varied scenery passing through villages and into open countryside. Heading towards West Leigh, Rowlands Castle Village and onto Blendworth. There are a few moderately challenging hills along the way. As usual we will ride at a leisurely pace and it's not a problem to stop for a breather. We will stop halfway into the ride for a refreshment break of approximately 30-40 minutes. Our destination is Keydell Nurseries where there is a lovely cafe with inside and outside seating. We will return to Havant via Blendworth and Rowlands Castle. Deer can sometimes be seen in fields near Blendworth.
Havant Leisure Centre has a Pay and Display car park if you wish to drive to the starting point. It is also just a short distance from the station. Free parking is available in Bidbury Mead, Bedhampton (approximately 10 minute bike ride to the Leisure Centre). On street parking also available in Third Avenue, Havant PO9 2QR (5 minute cycle ride to the leisure Centre, via the railway/foot bridge). Please ensure your tyres are correctly inflated and bring a lock.
