The Bike Jam returns to Ellesmere College, Leicester for the final date of 2019! Join us during half-term for our inclusive and interactive FREE cycling extravaganza!
George Pollard, Sustrans Neighborhood Cycling Officer said "Ellesmere College have amazing cycling facilities which they're kindly opening up to the community. Whatever your age or ability, we're proudly making this event accessible to everyone. It really is an event for the whole family, from tiny tots to grandparents".
Sustrans East Midlands will be providing learn to ride skills, bike safety checks, pedal-powered spin art and cycling information. Leicester WFA return with their fleet of adapted bikes, allowing riders of all abilities to take part in the fun. British Cycling will be helping out over on the BMX pump-track and MTB trails, which will be open to all once an introductory ride has been made.
Refreshments will be on hand thanks to The Bridge To Hope Coffee.
The activities are from 11am until 3pm at Ellesmere College, 40 Braunstone Lane East, Leicester, LE3 2FD. Car parking is available, but please arrive by bike if you can.
