BEXLEY HEALTHY +RIDE TO HIGH ELMS COUNTRY PARK

SATURDAY 28TH DECEMBER 2019 10.00am

START / FINISH DANSON PARK, DA6 8HL 10.00am – 1.30pm 21 MILES *** Note start/finish times due to festive period***

Easy paced social ride, mostly on quiet roads and cycle paths – we leave Danson and head towards New Eltham crossing the foot bridge and continue on the A20 cycle path to Frognal Corner and on to Chislehurst, Petts Wood, Crofton and into the village of Farnborough where we enter High Elms. We enjoy refreshments at the famous Green Roof Café, Jim will give a brief talk about the history of this famous estate owned by Sir John Lubbock. We then head back via Chelsfield and along the Sevenoaks Way to Critalls Corner, into Sidcup and returning to Danson.

Please ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition and that the tyres are fully inflated and ideally you have at least one spare inner-tube and that your seat is at the correct height and that you are dressed for the weather on the day.
