Bexley Healthy + Ride to Folkstone Gardens "Festa sul Prato"

Easy paced social Healthy +ride to Folkstone Gardens with a refreshment stop at "Festa Sul Prato"

Setting off from Danson park via the St Johns gate we head for Falconwood through Eltham park South, past Eltham station and across the A205, through Kidbrooke Green park towards Greenwich and under the “Sun in the Sands” we make our way to the Cutty Sark picking up Cycleway 1 (aka Q1) past St Pauls church and Deptford High Street continuing on Cycleway 1 to reach Folkstone Gardens, where we will complete a small loop and then stop briefly for refreshments at "Festa Sul Prato". Once refreshed we will head for Deptford Broadway and Waterlink way using Brookmill park to reach Elverson Road DLR station using the Zig Zag bridge to cross, we then head for Morden Hill, a 2 stage hill which will take us to Blackheath (optional to walk Morden Hill) as always we wait for all riders. Once at Blackheath we will use the LCN to get back to Danson, aiming to reach back here for 1pm – all levels of riders welcome, please ensure you are fairly comfortable cycling 19 miles. Please ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition and that the tyres are fully inflated and ideally you have at least one spare inner-tube and that your seat is at the correct height and that you are dressed for the weather on the day.
