Starting at the Beeches Eco café in Burnham Beeches, you can ride to the start or park in the Beeches (weekday parking usually just an optional donation – pay & display at the weekend/bank holidays).
We will cycle to Berry Hill and work on our hills climbing together with a hill climb and a rest, and then repeating the effort, before cycling back to the cafe. It is deliberately stretching, but you can choose how long you rest for and how many repeats you do. And if you come every week, you will see your hill-climbing and fitness improve!
Remember that you must wear a cycling helmet. Please bring two spare inner tubes, a bike pump, a drink of water and card/money for our stop (please note: many places take card payment only), hand sanitiser.
Please have a good check over your bikes to make sure they are road worthy. British Cycling have put together a handy video for checking your bike before a ride - How to check your bike - British Cycling's M Check https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=JwSi-AGwm5g&safe=true
Please remember to bring bike lights (front and back), spare inner tubes & tyre levers and a bike pump.
If you unwell with any of the signs of COVID19 please do not come to the ride. Due to Covid 19 guidance we will cycle in single file and maintain appropriate social distancing and we will have extra safety precautions in place; I will contact you about these before the ride so please make sure that your contact details when you registered with Breeze are correct. Please make sure you have included a contact number on you Let's RIde profile and take a minute to look at British Cycling’s guidance regarding cycling and COVID-19. Thank you.
This will be as hard work as you want to make it, but I guarantee that you will get better and stronger.
