Leaving the Millstone we will head towards Horwich and tackle the first long gradual climb up Chorley Old Road and turn up and over Matchmoor lane and down Scout Moor Road. We will make our way up to Belmont village and the turn up Rivington road to towards the mast at Winter Hill. After the descent into Rivington village we will head over towards Blackrod for the climb into Blackrod village and then loop around Rivington village back to the start point
