This ride is for beginners who can pedal and balance, but are looking to build confidence and eventually practise riding on the roads when ready. It's the first of a series of rides on Saturday mornings, designed to help women new to cycling to have fun and ride safely. We are trained ride leaders and will help you practise in the park at a social distance. As people progress we will adjust the distances and places to ride accordingly. Breeze rides are friendly and sociable and no one is ever left behind.
Any bike is suitable. Before you come please pump up the tyres and ensure that the wheels turn freely and both brakes work. Please have it checked out at a bike shop, or with a friend, if you're not sure. We cannot fix your bike for you on the spot.
In order to practise social distancing we are only taking limited numbers and will have our drinks in the open air at the end of the ride. There are no toilets, but it is a short session. If you sign up to the ride we will send you more information about how we manage the ride to keep everyone safe post-lockdown. We look forward to seeing you!

Bring a drink, hand sanitiser and a snack. No special gear is needed, but please wear non-baggy clothing which won't get caught in the bike. Make sure your bike is in full working order before you come.
