We will be cycling on mostly quiet country roads, although we may have to cross a few busier roads. There will be hills, but we will take them nice and steady and wait at the top for anyone struggling. Social distancing will be observed throughout the ride. New riders are welcome. Whilst we will be social distancing we will leave no-one behind.
You must not attend a ride if you have COVID-19 symptoms, have someone in your household who does, are in the extremely vulnerable category or if you have been asked to remain at home by the UK Government track and trace system.
Helmets are compulsory. Please bring a spare inner tube that fits your bike as well as tyre levers. As a result of social distancing we are unable to all muck in in the event of a puncture. Cycling glasses and gloves are strongly recommended.
As a result of Covid-19 we will not be making any coffee stops so please bring drinks and snack sufficient for the length of ride. We will take rest breaks as needed.
Hand sanitiser should be brought for use before, during and after you ride.
Masks are optional whilst riding. Please make sure that you can breathe comfortably. However, please bring a mask or face covering with you for your use in the event of injury requiring attention from the leader (who will also wear PPE).
We especially welcome newbies!
