A nice short and largely flat ride of 13.2 miles from Antrobus Village hall along the lanes of Cheshire exploring some roads less frequently travelled and coming back via Whitley.

Having left the tea room, we head out of Antrobus, taking Occupation Lane and Sandy Lane (carefully) towards High Legh, but then turning back via Grandsires Heath and into Antrobus to set off on the 2nd loop which takes us out towards Higher Whitley and Frandley, Feldy and then return to Antrobus in time for tea and cake.

This is a new series of rides, alternating long and short called Home and Away RIdes. • Home rides are shorter and the group will be back in time for tea and cakes at the Antrobus tea room. These tend to be on quiet roads designed for people new to or returning to cycling. • Away rides are longer and will include getting food at a café during the ride. These longer routes on a mix of roads are for cyclists who are up for more of a distance challenge! We will ride at an easy pace of about 10mph, and make sure that no one is left behind. On both types of rides there will be short stops along the route. You'll need a road worthy bike. Helmets are strongly recommended. We also recommend you bring a pump and a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit. You might want to bring a lock as well. Please bring your own drinks and snacks, if required.

We never leave anyone behind
