Starting from Amersham we will ride on mainly quiet country lanes to West Wycombe where we will stop for coffee and cake at the delightful Apple Orchard cafe.
This is planned as a fast paced ride - c. 13 mph so you will need a reasonable level of fitness for this ride. There are a number of steep hills too but we will be rewarded with beautiful scenery. This is a ride with a bit of everything - hills, flat, country lanes and some cycling on main roads but it will be a fun morning out.
Places are very limited so please only book if you are definitely able to come along.
Due to Covid 19 guidance we will cycle in single file and maintain appropriate social distancing and we will have extra safety precautions in place; I will contact you about these before the ride so please make sure that your contact details when you registered with Breeze are correct.
Please take a minute to look at British Cycling’s guidance regarding cycling and COVID-19:

If you want to read what Public Health England say about COVID-19, please see below:
https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/coronavirus-covid-19-list-of-guidance#guidance-for-the-publicI expect participants to take responsibility for ensuring they are well and not coming on the ride if they display signs of COVID-19. British Cycling are keen for group cycling to continue in the most socially distanced way possible. You can wear a mask if you feel it is appropriate. Ultimately, only you can decide if you feel safe from the risks of COVID-19 to ride at this time.
I would prefer it if you would wear a cycling helmet. Please bring two spare inner tubes, a bike pump, a drink of water and card/money for our stop (please note: many places take card payment only), hand sanitiser and a face covering
Please have a good check over your bikes to make sure they are road worthy. British Cycling have put together a handy video for checking your bike before a ride - How to check your bike - British Cycling's M Check
