Bovingdon Green round trip

We will proceed clockwise by climbing up Baldwins Lane then head towards Sarratt, Flaunden and Bovingdon Green. On the return loop we will visit Chipperfield to stop at Blackwell's for optional refreshments before returning to Croxley Green.

This is a pretty countryside route on roads and lanes. There will be 601 feet of climbs which are largely gradual but at 11.7 miles there is a short steep climb of 85 feet towards Chipperfield for our refreshment stop. The pace should average 10mph over the ride.

We especially welcome newbies!

Children are welcome when accompanied with a riding adult.

eBikes are welcome.

All participants are expected to bring:
• A bike in good working order with tyres pumped to the correct pressure. Please conduct a pre-ride safety check on your bike.
• A cycle helmet.
• Carry at least a spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers.
• Dress for the expected weather.
• Anti-viral precautions per NHS advice.
• A drink and snack.
• Lights if there is any chance of poor visibility.
