If coming by car there is some on street parking round about and a small car park on the main road near the chip shop. No toilets.
Please arrive at 6:15 for introductions, briefing and safety checks to allow for a prompt start at 6:30
Helmets are strongly recommended and please bring good lights (with fresh batteries or fully charged) a spare inner tube to fit your tyre size, and a working pump. At this time of year obviously dress for the weather but if weather conditions warrant it the ride may be cancelled at short notice, so please check your emails on the day.
Also please bring (but not wear) a face covering for emergencies. If you have or have been in contact with anyone who has covid like symptoms, please do not attend the ride.
We plan to have a social drink at the Gamekeeper pub on our return. This will not officially be part of the ride but everyone is welcome. Last time we sat at the outdoor seating (they have heaters) where we could see our bikes, but if the weather is bad you may wish to bring a lock so we can sit inside. DN21 3TJ
