Parking is free at this time. Car Parking is conveniently located on Queens Road car park, PR7 1JU. This is next to the park gates. Turn right immediately after the park gates when entering Chorley from the Preston direction or M61 junction 8. Parking should be free after 5 p.m. and all day on Sunday.

Leaving from Astley Park gates, Chorley PR7 1JU.
The route turns past the town hall and across the by-pass and through the station car park towards Eaves Lane. Thence along Eaves lane to Botany Bay, through White Coppice, Heapey, Wheelton and over Denham Hill. From here it passes through Gregson Lane, Walton Summit, Clayton Brook, Whittle-le-Woods and Buckshaw Village to return to Chorley via Astley Park.
Total distance is 20 miles.
