Continuing our series of rides on the Forth Thursday of the month, doing around 30 miles or more, to different interesting venues each month. There may be options to come one way with these rides so please get in touch and ask.
This is a city ride which will take us through the heart of town, via quiet ways and back streets, up to one of the best North London views in London from Alexandra Palace - This is a top 100 Climb up Swains Lane, and a yippee-downhill to follow, get off and walk if we need to and regroup at the top, catching our breath while we gaze enraptured at the view of this wonderful city with its changing landscape. (weather permitting!!)
Bring snacks and a lock as we will stop for some refreshment on the way.
30 miles of fun with a stop on the way
Traffic roads and quiet ways, you should be comfortable on roads
We will stop half way to admire the view and have a coffee and snack.
Weather appropriate clothes, lock for the cafe, snack and drink for the hills.
We are working on improving our stamina and endurance by doing a couple of hills on the way. You can take these at your own pace, and speedy beanies can go up and down and up again while they wait for me!
