From Tideswell to Longnor then onto Flash for cafe stop. Then onto 3 shires head via bridleway and path (there will be some bike pushing). May have a quick paddle but won't have time to wild swim. We'll then return to Longnor via Blaze Ice Cream farm, Wincle and the Roaches. Then its a familiar route using the pennine bridleway back to the Monsal Trail and Tideswell.
A combination of trails and mostly minor road. Suitable for a gravel / touring bike or a mountain bike if you're comfortable riding one for nearly 50 miles. Low gears are a must. Just under 50 miles and 5,500 feet (according to my Wahoo).
Couple of stops at Flash and Blaze Farm.
Helmets. Snacks. Drinks. Tools. Puncture kit. Money for stops.
This is one of the most challenging routes I've done but its very beautiful scenery. There are hills which are steep in places.
