17/04/21 Tarves/Udny Green/Udny Station/Pitmedden Return

This route will see us on narrow country roads and we will also be travelling along the B999 main road from Pitmedden to Tarves. We will be travelling at approx 10-11mph. This route will be hilly but where possible we will stop and regroup. It most likely will be cold so wrap up warm and if you’ve bright clothing that would be of benefit too.

We will meet in The Square car park, Tarves and head off towards Undy Green, Udny Station, Pitmedden then back to Tarves.

We will be riding both single and double file on narrow roads and the main road. There will be hills (can’t escape them in the shire).

There will be no coffee stops I’m afraid due to current rules but we will stop regular to make sure we are all together, we don’t leave anyone behind.

We would prefer it if you wore a helmet, if you have brightly coloured clothing that would be of benefit and you’ll need to keep yourself nice and cosy so probably still gloves!! Maybe even take a water bottle with you and a wee sweet for your pocket.
