PL2 3DG

Cremyll, Cawsand, Rame and Whitsand Bay and Torpoint round route from Plymouth Life Centre.

This is a challenging ride as there are a number of inclines and steep downhills.

Some of the downhill lanes are steep with gravel/pot holes so working breaks are a must!

You will also need to be able to carry your bike on and off the Cremyll Ferry.

Starting form the life centre.

Catching the Cremyll ferry, ferry crossing costs £3 per person (inc bike), please ensure you have the right money for the crossing https://www.plymouthboattrips.co.uk/ferries/cremyll-ferry/#tab28

Going through mount edgcumbe park, to maker, taking the quiet road to Cawsand.

We will head out to penlee point to take a breather and admire the view across PLYMOUTH sound. Take the same track back to Cawsand and head towards Rame.

Riding along the top of Whitsand bay, we will be stopping for refreshments at cliff top café to see the view in the ride photo http://www.clifftopcafe.co.uk/clifftop_menu_A5_4pp_web.pdf

Continuing along whitsand bay, we’ll carry on to Tregantle Fort where there are more great views over Cornwall and Devon/Dartmoor.

Again more quiet country lanes to Antony, a short section on the main road, then more lanes towards Torpoint.

Going through Torpoint. Catching the Torpoint ferry back to Plymouth.

Another 15 minutes through the Plymouth streets back to the life centre.
