The FC.s Friendly Cyclists Saturday Club

This is just an addition to the Fcs main group that hosts Saturday rides to supplement the sunday group rides . If this sounds like your cup of tea join up , what have you got to lose ? We will ride all over the northwest , whether it be Liverpool , southport , wigan , Manchester , Bolton , as well as east Lancashire . If any members have any ideas for rides they would like to do , let me know and we can look into it so we keep the rides fresh. Also please note , this is a social cycling group and not a cycling club as such , you do not need a £2000 bike to ride with us , as long as you keep your bike reasonably well maintained youll be fine. The Saturday rides are also run between 8 and 12 mph , and on the whole slower than the sunday rides , more of a beginner /intermediate level , saying that we have done up to 70 miles on a reasonably flat route in the summer , and we have done a few hilly rides but normally around 20 miles . I try to make sure we post a ride every Saturday wherever possible , so hope to see you soon.
