CAFÉs and Other Mini Bike Adventures Breeze

[Photo credit: Dabbling Duck café, Shere] Breeze women's road cycling 30-65+ miles. We ride for fun!!! Our rides are for the more experienced and faster Breeze road cyclist whose speed averages 21-23kph/13-14.5mph over 60-105k/30-65miles of gently rolling roads; slightly less on hilly rides, possibly more on flat rides, enjoying, not rushing. We ride on road bikes, and in clip-in pedals; and use pleasant, quiet and scenic roads as far as possible. These include the occasional road bike friendly traffic-free cycle path. We ride in small groups of 8-10; strive to be neat and tidy in our riding, and to make a second nature of good road cycling skills and etiquette ... all without being overly rigid! We ride at pace of the slowest, tackle hills and descents at own pace, re-group at junctions / top & bottom of hills, have unrushed coffee breaks and leave no one behind. Should a ride be noticeably unsuitable, the Breeze Champion/s shall aim to gently invite a rider to leave the ride at a safe point (eg a train station) and to join us on our sister Little Lanes Breeze rides for the timebeing (2 sub-groups: Steady 10-11.5mph/ 16-18.5kph, and Challenging 18-20kph/ 11-12.5mph); these are also open to non-road bikes eg xc, road/gravel, Bromptons, touring, hybrids etc. Over the summer, we like to go on bike-&-train mini adventures. In the winter months, we may use trains to help us make the most of the short days.
