Leicester Spokes

A social cycling group based in Leicester whose members ride for entertainment and leisure not for sport. We offer non-competitive led rides all year round, cycling holidays and social events. Cyclists are welcome to come along and try a few rides however regular attendance requires full membership, which starts at only £4 p.a. All rides start at Bede Park by Tesco unless specified otherwise. Rides are mostly on road and not suitable for young children, though accompanied teenagers on suitable bikes may be allowed at the discretion of the ride leader. Wednesday evenings - 7 to 9 p.m. - approx 15-25 miles @ 8-10 mph. Lights are required. Saturdays - 10.00 a.m (Summer) / 10:30 (Winter) - 40-100 miles @ 12-15 mph. Sundays - bi-weekly 10.30 a.m. - 20-40 miles @ 10-12 mph with lunch stop. See www.leicesterspokes.org.uk for full details.
